Questions and support

You can reach us about anything from inside the app, under Profile → Feedback. We usually reply within a few working days. The questions below cover what people ask most often — locks, content review, rights, coins, reporting and account deletion.

There is no support email address to write to: every request, report and appeal is raised from inside the Story Circle app, so it arrives with the account and the content it is about.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to wait for my turn to write a chapter?

No. Story Circle has no queue and no turn order. Whoever starts writing an open chapter first locks it, and it stays theirs for the length of the lock. If the lock expires, the chapter opens to everyone again.

Why was my chapter not published immediately?

Every submitted chapter goes through automatic content review before publishing. It is usually quick. If your text is flagged you will see the reason in the app, and you can either fix it and resubmit or appeal for human review.

Who owns the rights to the chapter I write?

You do. You grant Story Circle only a non-exclusive licence to publish, list and promote it on the platform.

I saw inappropriate content — what should I do?

You can report the chapter, comment, book or user from inside the app. Reports are reviewed by platform moderators. You can also block the user if you prefer.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your published chapters and comments are not deleted; the author name is anonymised to "Deleted user".

What is a coin for?

A coin is an in-app unit only. You spend coins to create a book, to raise a book’s chapter target and to export a book as a file; you earn them by publishing chapters, signing in daily and reading. Coins have no real-money value, cannot be bought, cannot be transferred and are not refundable.

Can a book have more than one ending?

In branching books, yes. Several continuations can be written under the same chapter; the reader picks which path to follow, and different paths can lead to different endings.

Is Story Circle free?

Yes — downloading and using the app is free. There are no ads in the app and your data is not used for advertising.

If your question is about a word rather than a situation, the glossary defines every term the app uses, and how it works walks a chapter from an open slot to a published one.

Contact

Getting in touch

Write to us from inside the app: Profile → Feedback. The app’s interface is currently Turkish only, so on screen that path reads Profil → Geri bildirim.

When you report a bug, it helps enormously to say which screen you were on and what you were doing when it happened. For a suggestion, the same route works — tell us what you were trying to do, not only what you would like added.

Content

Reporting content

If you come across something inappropriate, reporting it from inside the app is the fastest route: the report goes straight to the platform moderators and is reviewed together with the content it is about. You can report a chapter, a comment, a book or a user, and you can block a user if you would rather not see them.

Every chapter has already passed automatic content review before publication, but review is not perfect and reports are how the gap gets closed. If a chapter you wrote was flagged and you think the verdict is wrong, you can appeal from inside the app and a human moderator will look at it.

Personal data

Requests about your personal data

You can exercise your rights to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to its processing, from inside the app; use Profile → Feedback to make a request. Which action is taken where is set out in section 9 of the Privacy Policy.

Account

Deleting your account

Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and there is no undo window. Your published chapters and comments are not deleted — the story other people built on them would break — but the author name is anonymised to “Silinmiş kullanıcı”, meaning “deleted user”. What is erased and what stays behind anonymised is described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
